Kelly Clarkson has been a singer and songwriter in America for over 20 years. She was crowned American Idol during the first season. Not only was the victory that brought Kelly Clarkson's name to the forefront as it also secured her an arrangement in partnership with RCA Records 19 Recordings & "S Records" for a series of albums. Since her debut in the series, she has released a number of albums. Of those albums three made it to the top of the US Billboard 200. The others were close to reaching the top position. Her name is regarded as one of the most successful American Idol artists. She tried her hand at recognition for her different musical themes and style, and often wrote her own songs. For her uniqueness and vocal talent, she has received critical acclaim as well as a variety of awards. Her most notable achievement is that she won the Grammy Award three times. Apart from her professional career in music, she's also seen on TV and in film. She also wrote the kids' storybook River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and has been involved with a number of charities.

He made his directorial debut a year later, with the film The Thing You Do! The story tells of the downfall and rise of a 1960s rock band. Hanks is also in the role of a music producer. Time magazine's Richard Schickel described his performance as "charming" and most critics agreed that Hanksperformance has earned him a place among the finest romantic comedy actors of his time.

Award winning actress and actor Kellita Smith has recently returned to Chicago to host and be the narrator of WTTW's upcoming unique documentary DuSable to Obama: Chicagos Black Metropolis. Smith is known best for her performance in the Bernie Mac Show's Wanda McCullough. Born in Chicago and has been performing for more than 20 years. Smith was a regular on The Bernie Mac Show for seven seasons. She was also a part of UPN Malcolm & Eddie, CBS Nash Bridges, FOX Televisions Martin, FOX Televisions Martin, the WBs Jamie Foxx Show, Sister, Sister, and NYPD Blue. Recent movies include Roll Bounce, a Fox 2000 Film; King Ransom with New Line Cinema; Fox Searchlight Kingdom Come starring Whoopi Goldberg; Marimax The Crossing Guard featuring Jack Nicolson directed by Sean Penn and New Line Cinema House Party 3.
