Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson hails from the American continent and works as an actress, producer, writer/singer/director. Most well-known is her acting as Tara Maclay from the TV Series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson is also the director of her own films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and was the lead actress in them. Additionally, she was her bridesmaid in the Kiss the Bride movie. Benson was the youngest of children from Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Her birthplace was Birmingham, Alabama on 8 January 1977. Danielle Benson is her artist younger sister. Benson has a father who is Jewish while her mother is Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. Benson has appeared featured in a variety of TV and film shows after Buffy was over, most notably The Killing Jar. Her talents as a writer were put to use on Ghosts of Albion, and she directed Drones (2010). Buffy says that around 1800 Slayers exist in the universe with 500 who are part of the Scooby Gang. They are now able to awaken as Slayers as they mature to a suitable level like Slayer Soledad. Slayer Soledad was born on her 16th birthday.
