Lisa Edelstein is an American actress who is best known for her work on House. Fox medical show, House. She was raised in Wayne where she was a part of a traditional Jewish tradition. When she was 18, she moved into New York City to study at Tisch School of the Arts. She quickly became part of the scene of clubs in New York. Her performances were so impressive that the local press took note. She used both her musical training and fame to write and perform in a new musical, Positive Me. Shortly thereafter she landed an interview with MTV as host of Awake on the Wild Side. When it ended up going off the show, she started appearing in TV and films beginning in roles of a short duration and gradually established herself as an actress.
