Alissa White-Gluz
Alissa White-Gluz was the previous lead vocalist of the metalcore band The Agonist, and the present lead singer for the Swedish popular melodic death band Arch Enemy. Alissa White-Gluz (born July 31 1984) is an Canadian singer who is best known for her role as lead singer of the Swedish melodic death metal group Arch Enemy, and former singer-songwriter and founder of the Canadian metalcore group the Agonist. She sings with a grunt and a growl. (clean vocals) are part of her distinctive vocal style. She's mostly associated with Metalcore and melodic deaths, however she has performed with Nightwish, Tarja Turunen, Delain and Powerwolf. The Agonist (2004-2014) From 2004 White-Gluz formed the Agonist (then was referred to as "Tempest") together with the band's co-leaders Danny Marino and Chris Kells in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The group released three albums, with The Agonist, as their primary vocalist.White-Gluz was let go of the Agonist at the beginning of 2014 after she was offered the position of vocalist with Arch Enemy.
