Raul Alejandro Olasio , also known as Ruiz, was born on 10 January 1993. He is known as Rauw Alejandro. He has been dubbed the "King of Modern Reggaeton".[2][3] He belongs to the "new generation" of Puerto Rican musicians. The album he released his debut, Afrodisiaco (studio album), was released in the month of November in 2020. The album that followed Vice Versa was released in June 2021, featured the lead track "Todo de Ti". From twelve nominations, he has been awarded two Latin Grammy Awards. Raul Alejandro Ocasio Ruiz was born on January 10 1993, in San Juan, Puerto Rico and was raised in Canovanas and Carolina. Alejandro's father and guitarist Raul OcasioRuiz, and his mother Maria Nelly Ruiz (backing vocalist) introduced him to a variety of his musical heroes such as Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, as well as Chris Brown. 6 For a number of years, Alejandro and his father lived in the mainland United States, mainly Miami and New York City, where he was influenced by the R&B and dancehall genres. Rauw Alejandro is renowned for his Latin R&B, Latin Reggaeton and rhythmic pop music. Billboard stated that it has been instrumental in helping "set him apart from the growing group of reggaetoneros who are influenced by pop".
